About Sunrise Soap Co.
Owner Chris Clarke founded Sunrise Soap Company in 2005 and makes its soaps in a kitchen behind the downtown York shop. She produces more than 100 varieties, most of them vegan, along with lotions, deodorants, shampoo bars and bath fizzies. Bars are cut on an antique soap cutter, and the shop offers free factory tours and soap-making parties.
